Can you guys fix this? I don't think we should be excluded from purchasing from you guys just because we don't have penises. Thanks Anet. Fix Asap and you'll get some money from me. Because seriously, those other shirts are totally gross. That's right, the only thing a woman in her right mind WOULDN't buy, is the one thing you guys made in our sizing.
...>.>
If you want a penis....go to Canada, Toronto, Eaton centre...Take a left into the Alley. Don't go in there without Twizzlers, or your as good as dead. You'll see a window Knock three times, then turn around and don't look.
You'll hear a voice say "how big" , say 15 inches, you'll get the reply "Do it"
Turn around now there will be a crate, put the Twizzlers or 300,000 dollars cash (either works) turn around again and say "its all there" (and if you ate some twizzlers....god speed) if you did it right you'll get the answer "Done"
Turn around once again for the final time, the twizzlers/cash will be gone, take the crate. Inside will be 6 bags of bread, 2 are 3 day old bread. Take the 3 day old bread its so damn tough it releases testosterone and you will get a penis >.>.
If you can break the bread, you are more manly than possible to describe

Joke aside (I try >.>)

Whats the big deal of having a male shirt?

If its like pants or something, I guess, but nothing wrong with girls wearing mens clothing really >.> ... its when men wear gears clothing that the red flag goes up.
There are some women clothing actually...kinda rare.
Also you could, buy a female White/black t-shirt at wal-mart(or whatever color the gw shirts are) then buy the male one, Cut out the design, and then heart it onto the black/white/grey shirt. Doesn't look wowing but its still decent >.>

For pants or anything else, I can't help you there.

The European store sells a whole lot more merchandise than the US Store

It makes no sense to me, they would make soooooooo much money if the sold cool merchandise...

-hoodies for guys and gals... and kids
- T -shirts.... same, guys, gals, kids
- A GW LEATHER JACKET?? or Down Jacket?????? OMG!!
- jammies?
- Decals for the car... what better free advertisement for them?
- lighters
- coffee mugs
- stickers
- planners

name it... I'd buy it.... but posters???? I dunno... I'm gonna pass on that for now.

Not quite. The necklines are different. So is shoulder width and length.

I want more designs, honestly. I guess getting sizes for women is appropriate, but I want more designs! The ability to put my character on a shirt doing whatever emote would be nice, too!

This thread makes me laugh... I fail to see why anyone is arguing about it. They SHOULD offer the sizes and style for both male and female. Plain and simple. Is going to kill any guy if all of a sudden they offer female versions of the shirt? Somehow I doubt it. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....................

Guys, let me be honest with you: The merchandise in the Guild Wars Gear store is an experiment. We paid for all of it up front, and we just couldn't justify spending twice the cash for shirts at this early date. We have to confirm that the whole thing is a good idea; we have to dip our toes into the retail market carefully, because a lot of these sorts of ventures fail, leaving the company with unsold merchandise and a balance book that screams "red" on all its pages.

You know you can count on me to advocate for more sizes -- I already did. Thrice. But the fact is, we had to start somewhere, and this is just the beginning of what we hope will be a larger store with many more choices in the future.

And by the way, the Charr shirt is an American Products shirt; the Ladies of Tyria is a Hanes shirt. Our experience at the office is that the American Products are more snug, so if you're looking for a shirt and you're a petite person, or you're thinking of something for a younger person, consider the Charr shirt rather than the Ladies of Tyria shirt, if all things are equal in your minds as far as design.

Oh, also, the Gear Store is not seen by ArenaNet as a "profit center." We're viewing this as a way to offer options to those who would like to show their Guild Wars love. So again, we can't spent a ton getting another four sizes in two shorts, but that will come in the future, I am sure.

just because it's men's sizes doesn't mean you can't still buy it and wear it. If I could afford it I'd still buy one in men's small to wear... your gender has nothing to do with it.

Plus I never noticed if it stated men sizes only so one would be led to beleive that they're unisex, or labeled to be unisex. Just my opinion.

Though I'm more interested in getting the posters than anything.

Useful info, Gaile, and it'd be great if that kind of thing were noted in the shirt descriptions. Fit matters, especially when you're crossing gender lines in apparel.

team up with other company that sells t-shirt onliine, and you don't have to print the t-shirt up front yourself. plus if they do a competitions for a Threadless + Guild Wars T-shirt people can enter the competition, more people will wear Guild Wars t-shirt and its free advertising. maybe not free, probably need to negotiate a deal with them. but its better than stocking up on t-shirts that does not sell.

The main problem with men's T shirts generally is that they have high necklines.

A high neckline sucks on anybody who has bigger than a B cup, because it makes the boobs look like a shapeless sausage. This makes the entire body look fat, whether it is or not. On a small cup size, the high neck helps create an illusion of boobs.

When you lower the neckline, the boobs take more shape. The lower the neckline, the better a large cup size looks.

Take a high necked T-shirt and a low cut one and give them to some of your female friends to model so you can see the effect. If you have no female friends then stop playing GW for a while and get out into a public place and do some observation, but please be discreet so you don't get arrested.

Men's T-shirts look great on flat-chested women. Put one on Jora and she'll look like a fat male norn.

The women who play GW ALL have D cups or larger, believe me. They also have long legs and narrow waists. Where do you think Anet got their female characters from if not the actual playerbase?

Thanks for that Gaile. It's good to know that the merch is currently under development and there may be changes. Well, just my two cents that I WILL buy a hoodie if they're available in women's sizes. So if they're ever made available you will have my business.

And Pumpkin Pie, that's a GREAT idea. Threadless is really popular. I myself own about 20 shirts from there. They're great advertising, and the shirts are always great. Maybe Anet might want to look into doing this. Usually all they have to do is set up some kind of competion. I.E. Threadless Loves Guild Wars... Prizes could be a free Platinum edition and maybe a Zboard. It would put more awareness out there, and that way we all get awesome t-shirts, as well as a chance to design our own...

What do you think Gaile? Is this something that You guys would consider? Website: www.threadless.com
